Frequently Asked Questions
When is KILO launching?
KILO is coming to iOS in June 2026. It’s built for iOS 26 and takes full advantage of the new Liquid Glass design, Live Activities, and Dynamic Island.
What devices does KILO support?
KILO runs on iPhone and Apple Watch. The iPhone app requires iOS 26 or later. Live Activities with Dynamic Island support require iPhone 15 or newer.
Do I need an account to use KILO?
No. KILO works fully offline with local storage. An account is only required if you want to back up your data. You can also sync your data privately via iCloud without creating a KILO account.
How does sync work?
KILO offers two independent sync options. iCloud sync keeps a private backup in your own iCloud account. Optional KILO account sync lets you back up your data securely on our servers. You can enable only one at a time from Settings.
Can I import data from another workout app?
Direct imports aren’t supported at launch. If there’s a specific app you’d like to bring data from, let us know — we prioritise imports based on what users ask for most.
How are smart suggestions generated?
Suggestions are produced on-device from your own training history, your chosen experience level, and common best practices around recovery and progressive overload. No data leaves your device to power them.
Does KILO read from Apple Health?
KILO uses HealthKit to read live heart rate data from your Apple Watch during active workouts and to write completed workouts back to Health. You control every permission from the system Health settings and can revoke access at any time.
Can I use KILO without Apple Watch?
Yes. The iPhone app is fully featured on its own. Apple Watch adds live heart rate and wrist-based logging but isn’t required.
How do I change units between kilograms and pounds?
Open Settings inside the app, then choose your preferred units. Existing workouts are displayed in the new unit automatically — the underlying data isn’t altered.
I found a bug or have a feature request.
Please email us with as much detail as you can — device model, iOS version, and steps to reproduce. Screenshots help a lot. Feature requests are welcome and genuinely shape the roadmap.
How do I delete my account or data?
In-app account deletion will be available from the Settings screen. Deleting your account removes your synced data from our servers. Data that lives only on your device can be removed by deleting the app or clearing it from Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
